The OMS writing board is rounded and has three individual boards that can be written on. A helpful tool to transmit information underwater or as a manual decoplaner. The OMS writing board is attached to the forearm with bungees and can thus be easily adjusted to the circumference of the forearm.
 
The pen is also secured with a bungee and is on a holder.
